Staff – Get to Know Rebecca
What’s your favorite genre of book and/or movie?
In the literary world, my favorite genres are young adult, romantasy, contemporary romance, and historical fiction. In film land, I prefer to watch true crime documentaries or romance films.
What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
I have three hobbies that I wish I could devote my life to: hand knitting/crocheting, book binding, and book nook building.
What are you interested in that some people may not have heard of?
Book jacket bedazzling is a fun new activity that I think more people should be interested in.
What form of transportation do you prefer? (air, boat, train, bus, car, etc.)
As an acrophobe, I never travel by airplane. I once traveled the east coast by bus and would not do that again. My bucket list includes a cross-country train ride.
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
Mostly I have traveled down the east coast to all the vacation destinations, but a few years ago I did a girls’ trip to Cleveland! It was the best time I have had on vacation.
What fictional place would you most like to go?
Velaris – The City of Starlight
What book impacted you the most?
The Book that I remember having the most impact on me was Roald Dahl’s Matilda. It is the first novel I remember reading and wishing I was a part of Matilda’s world. The second book that changed my reading journey was Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses. It was the first series that I became a true literary fangirl for.
