We have everything you need for your book club’s next meeting!

We offer book club kits that have 5 – 10 books in a handy canvas bag.

All kits have a 6-week loan period.

There are two collections of Book Club Kits to choose from:

1. Some titles are held in the Hartland Public Library collection and listed in our catalog– to see the full list, do a Keyword search for “Book Club Kit.”  Kits can be put on hold just like any other item in  collection.

2. Over 300 additional titles are shared within a group of Vermont libraries.  These kits are listed on the Green Mountain Library Consortium Kit Keeper page.  You can browse the entire collection, or search the titles using various filters.

3. In order to reserve a kit from this collection, please call or email Erik van Eck (802.436.2743 or circulation@hartlandlibraryvt.org).  Please have three (3) choices in case a kit is not available for the date you want.  You can reserve up to a year in advance!

Please note that kits from this collection that are owned by other libraries may already be on loan, but if they are available, they must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for courier delivery and library schedules.  Available kits owned by the Hartland Public Library will not require this extra lead time.  The list doesn’t indicate availability, so please first check with Dennise before scheduling for your club.
